Looking to extend your sailing experience into something in addition to an American 18? Try a Flying Scot.

There are two boatshare Flying Scots at the Sailing Squadron, and they’re such a fun boat to sail.

Come for an on-the-water introduction with Brad West on Saturday, July 27th at 1pm. Space is limited. Text Cathy at (830) 998 5778 to be added to the list. If there is enough demand, we’ll arrange additional sessions.

After a little practice you can arrange to get yourself checked out by Alan or Julie and be ready to start racing in the upcoming season.

Then you can join the SSS Flying Scot Challenger Fleet for racing on Saturdays. This fleet will be separately scored and will provide an opportunity for new Flying Scot sailors to hone their skills and see genuine progress as they improve.

All Flying Scots will still be a part of the same race day experience including post-race debriefs and activities regardless of which fleet they are scored in.
