Rich Roach – Sharpie Oystercatcher
When Rich isn’t in Sarasota sailing with the American 18 Fleet, you can sometimes find him sailing his New Haven Sharpie in and around the Connecticut River.
Rich built the Sharpie in his backyard. Originally a workhorse boat designed specifically for the shallow, muddy oyster beds of New Haven Harbor and Long Island Sound.
Ask Rich about it when you see him next!
